It was something a repair man couldn’t see with the naked eye, so I’d recommend calling your gas company since it’s free and useful.

Installed about 18 months ago. Have had repair man out multiple times and they changed the burners, the regulator, checked the gas connections. The smell comes and goes and is hard to pin down. It is intermittent. Can’t figure it out. Any ideas would be appreciated. When repair man changes a part that was possibly causing the leak and (set off the gas detection meter) he turns on the gas detection meter and the gas is no longer detected. Then he leaves and it starts all over.

A couple of repair men have tried to locate it but no success. We bought this (and a bunch of other Viking products) when we build our new home 3 years ago. we’ve had this small leak (i.e. Oder/smell) when the range was about a year old. I’ve even had the propane dealer over twice to have them check their connections. HELP!!
